I have 2 springs to replace that hold up the foot rest on my Lane Recliner; I don't know where their supposed to go?

Depending on the mechanism style there could be some stubs sticking out of the scissor portion of the mechanism that the ends of the springs hook on to. Another possibility is a "C" shaped bracket with a hole at the end near the cross bar for the spring to attach to.
