door latch?

I have vauxhall Combo Crewvan 1.3tdi 05 reg. Cant seem to work out why in the last 2 days both side sliding doors wont open from inside . Would it be mechanical or Fuse problems.The doors open from outside ok and the central locking works fine.Could you help.

had one like this on the n/s sliding door a wee while ago,the linkage on the inner handle had been forced and was inoperative,had to remove the door card and re attach the linkage,only awkward thing was the clip holding the handle on
