my gas cooker buttons wont stop clickin even though its not in use wat can i do i spilt water on 1 of the gas cooker hobs

What are you talking about?
Is the ignition spark operating all the time?
If so is it the cooker or is it the hob/ring igniters?
Why can't you turn off the power to the igniters until you get all the water out of the switches.
What make? What model?
