faulty speedo?

can anyone help guide me in the right direction? i have a citreon xrara with the 1.9diesel engine and the speedo seems to read about 15mph to low . has any one expieriance to know if i should be looking at the speedo head or drive pinion?

You need to turn on your ignition but do not start the engine. Then disconnect the battery. Turn off the ignition.Reconnect the battery everything should be reset.The only problem is you will loose your radio code so make sure you have it first.Good luck.
