my hotpoint fridge freezer has a warning light with a flashing thermomiter and the freezer has defosted and now the fridge is warm and i dont no wot to do
My fridge did exactly the same thing. The thing to do is defrost the whole fridge freezer for 5 days. I know its a pain but it works. I had an engineer out to sort my fridge out because I thought it was broken which cost me £140 and he told me it was just big blocks of ice still frozen in the freezer compartment which is blocking cold air to feed the fridge.
