AEG Sensorlogic TurboDry - tablet won't dissolve?

I put the tab in and it doesn't dissolve, the heating element still works as the dishes are warm/hot when the cycle has just finished. BUT the dishes, crockery etc arent clean. Any ideas?

try this
put the wash tablet on the silver filter bit in the base and then select a wash program without a pre-wash cycle
