vokera 28?

my boiler "vokera compact 28" is leaking really badly and pressure drops quite quickly. The gas engineer from BG says its ok to use and keep topping it up as the part can't here before $th of feb is this ok to do or will it damage the boiler further ?????

hi
firstly what part is leaking if it is a heat exchanger you shouldnt be using the boiler it should be capped off and labled ID.
if its the saftey valve these can be picked up anywhere
as can most boiler spares think he may be spinning you a yarn

You've had a qualified engineer look at it, tell you it's okay to use and to keep topping it up until the part is available?
I'm a little confused as to why you would come on here to try to possibly get contradictive evidence, when no-one on here can see what the engineer has seen and therefore give you better advice?

I don't think I'd want to work for you, you obviously don't appreciate those that do!
