my beko wma 667 s is making a banging/clanging noise?

it makes the noise when it spins. as soon as it makes the noise it stops spinning. then after about a minute it trys again but it happens again and stops. it does this 4/5 times then completely stops. it makes the noise with washing in or not. it doesnt make the noise when i manually rotate the drum.

its not flat out no, its as it starts to gather a bit of momentum that it does it. could this still be the problem you mentioned with the triac?

is the machine spinning flat out and then stopping?.this will repeat until it gives up.If this is the case the triac that controls the motor has blown on the control pcb.either replace the triac or replace the whole pcb assembly in the fascia/control panel
