Zanussi DW927 dishwasher not taking in any water.
Program went ahead with the cycle with no water in the machine, resulting in overheating.

Would this be a problem with the antioverflow valve or some other inlet mechanism?
How would I be able to tell if it's a programmer fault?

Why didn't the thermostat cut in to stop the overheating?
