What does error code E14 mean for WDI 1212 washer dryer and how can i fix i?

The washer dryer stops in mid wash cycle and displays error code E14. It is a Wdi/1212. It is a caple but told this is smeg. What does this error code mean and can it be repaired easily - ie what can i do? Thanks

SAW THIS ANSWER ON THE WEB..

You have a problem with the temperature control circuit in the dryer. These SMEG-built appliances are notoriously difficult to diagnose, so if you can't find anything obvious like broken wiring, I'd definitely get professional help.

Power off if investigating.
