Is it more likely to be a foot pedal issue or a motor isssue? I noticed the speed was hard to control. 100 mph at first, then I could slow it down a bit while sewing. I don't have a lot of money to spend fixing it. I sure do love it though - whenit was running!! :-)

If the speed was hard to control it is most likely the foot control but you will need someone to take it apart and check.
