switch in dyson dc04?

I have a loose connection where the cable connects with the switch. How do I open the housing to reach the switch?

the bad connection may be a fault inside the cable - where it continually gets bent and stretched until the conductors snap in two - fixed by shortening the cable by 6" or so.
