Task Manger?

Windows XP My Task Manger is runnig at 100%. More than 1/2 of it is one file name, but it won't let me delete that file. The computer still works but takes forever to do even a simple thing. How can I clean it.
Thanks

What's the name of the problem process?

Keep in mind that there are some processes that never show in the task manager. The BIOS time (code on the motherboard) and a key core windows process are in that group. 100% in the task manager is what's left after those have taken there slice of time.

If you can't delete the file or kill the process, it's because it's a key process. Don't even try stopping it.
