how can i repair my mira 723 shower?

Moved in to present house 5 years ago, mira shower fitted in en suite, the flow controls have become very stiff to turn on and off. How do I go about repairing this?, I am not a plumber.

The 723 doesn't have power to it. It's a mixer shower. It's likely that the internals have become scaled up over the years and the the shower requires a strip down and service. This can be fiddly if you're not familier with this type of shower so would recommed a plumber do it for you. Better still contact Mira's Customer Service Dept who can send a Mira Engineer to provide a full service including any spare parts required for a fixed price. Ring 0844 5715000.

turn the power off. make sure its off! take off the cover, try turning it on and off and you might see what the problem is , the nob might just be worn a little, try turning it with a pilers, on and off just for a wile, see if it gets easy to turn,, have the power off when doing this,,
