How can I fix my Hotpoint RF68S Fridge freezer?

The freezer is not working at all but the fridge appears to be working but possibly not as cool as it should be. This model is not a self defrosting type. Any suggestions on possible causes?

Tried changing the thermostat, but no change. The fridge is in fact working fine. The freezer is not even cool. Time to ditch it?
