our ford 8240 has an error code e28, what does that mean

Error E28 refers to c1/c2 pressure switch open circuit uni mod 16 x 16 transmission.

Does the tractor drive in all gears?

If it does check if the pressure is above 11 bar at the switch port if its is replace the switch.
