i am missing abestos roof sheeting?

I have recently lost two complete abestos sheets of my roof following a sevear storm. I would like to know if there is a product that will match the corregation of the current roof or does the entire roof need to be repair, this is not a small hole of cracks, complete sheets have been blown off from falling tree damage

It is not difficult to replace individual asbestos sheets, you will need to loosen the overlapping adjacent sheet in order to fit the new one under it and make sure that you get the head of the sheet over the relevant purlin and under the sheet above.
If you take a piece of the broken sheet along with 1 of the fixings to your supplier he will sell you a non-asbestos fibre cement sheet with the same profile, make sure that you measure the full width & length of the required sheet first.
You will find it easier with a second pair of hands but it can be done solo.
As for disposing of the old asbestos, many councils will accept small amounts from the general public if they have a special skip on site so it is worth ringing them.

if its house roof then house storm damage insurance should cover if you have it.
If you can measure across the gap of the corrigation curve. If garage roof we are talking about the profiles are ususally 3 inch but owing to the dangers of some types of asbestos rooves you can't buy the same type now try local builders merchant I'm sure they will have some substitute roofing to overlay the existing and close the gap without having to carry out a full roof replacement. If you Have to have a new roof then removal of the asbestos will have to be done by a specialist firm or licensed builder fully equiped with safety attire and specail marked bags so check with local council for a specialist builder. No asbestos can be dumped at local tip unless facilities for disposal are in place at tip there is a heavy fine for those who ignore the rules of asbestos disposal.
