Fitting a kitchen light!!!?

I am changing a Rose fitting with a halogen fitting and am having a mare! There are 3 cables, cable 1 is grey has a red, black and yellow green wire, cable 2 exactly the same, cable 3 White cable, 2 reds, 1 yell/ green. I have put 2 blacks together and connected to blue of laMp. 3 yell greens in 2nd hole of connector, now I'm left with 4 reds. If I
Put alll 4 in then light remains on even if switch is off. Can anyone help! I don't know which

the two grey cables are feeds in and out reds live and blacks neutrels blacks go with the blue of the fitting reds in a block with one of the twin reds (three in a connector not connected to anything) the other of the twin reds is the switch line and goes to the brown of the fitting. hope this was helpfull

from your description i would think that the two grey cables are the ring main and the white is the switch cable connect grey cables together plus one red from white the other red goes only to the lamp all the others are ok
