Bush DVHRS02. In standby mode my Record button
flashed intermitently and made a bleeping noise. No
response from handset so I turned the power off and
after awhile turned it back on but now no activity
at all. Is the thing kaput?

DVHRS02 DV/Video combined when power switched on unit it is stuck in wait mode with three flashing dashes showing on the display. Machine not responding, remote control is in working condition. Dvd tray will not eject it is in closed position nor will not respond to remote or buttons. Video tape will insert and reject on button but not on remote tape will not play.
