I have contacted Kitchenaid directly and they have sent me the replacement part with a bespoke spanner to make the repair. However, the thread on the spindle seems to be fixed and by using the spanner it has rounded the edges of the piece it is supposed to connect with. Bar from taking the bottom of the machine off & the motor out to see how it works, does anyone have any ideas? It's getting an answer or selling it on ebay!!!
