My toilet is partially blocked, as if there is a dam somewhere, water and paper etc do clear , but slowly. I have tried the bag and brush method, to no avail. Has anyone any other ideas/solutions?
Hire or buy set of drain rods and duck tape to tape rod joints if using in manhole it helps to stop them coming unscrewed.
try drain rod with the rubber plunge disc on in the toilet bowl. Also check the mahole it goes intoand the next if there is one. if first blocked and second clear your blockage is between manholes if both clear then its between toilet and first manhole. use the screw worm in manhole or the plunge disc if there is a trap with no rod point above it.
