The internal diameter of the wand is the same as a ten pence coin or fruit machine token, you may have sucked something like this up. Remove the wand, and drop a pebble or marble into it and make sure that it comes out the other end. If you mean that the machine isn't picking up when used normally, then remove the sole plate and check the ducting that is part of the sole plate, this is prone to blocking with fluff.
