Zanussi Jetsystem 1200 washing machine blew up?

The machine was in use, when suddenly I heard a lot of noise, rushed into the kitchen, the door had flung open, but drum was still spinning! The side of the machine seems to have 'blown' any ideas?

door lock is broken if it is still spinning with the door open!
