How do I fix an Equator EZ 1000 washer door switch. The unit will go into the DRY cycle and the door will lock) and the LOCK light will come on). It will not do anything in the WASH cycle. Since the Dry cycle is fine. I figure it must be the switch during WASH.

I had the same problem. I went so far as to break the handle off. Then I noticed the lock light was on and the wash cycle did not run. Then I noticed the water was not turned on. Then I turned the water on and shizam the machine was working.

That said. Do you know where I can buy a new washer handle and the shutoff for the water as if the water is left on the drum fills up. Being a certified redneck hick I am going to use bailer wire and a drill to fix the handle as my intercontinental jet is in the shop.
