How can I fix my Hygena Cooker hood - APP2300?

My cooker hood stopped working entirely after a bulb went bang. I have tried 2 new bulbs but with no joy. The switch is not tripped. I have unscrewed the switch unit itself but there is nothing obvious and no fuse that I can see.
