MATSUI TVR185 - new remote control not talking to t.v. `?

I bought a new remote control for my MATSUI TVR185 but it did not come with any instructions. As there is a password set, I cant type that in as the remote is not talking to the t.v.

If you bought a new Matsui remote try talking to DSG (aka Dixons) as Matsui is one of their brands. If it is a 'universal' remote take it back because it should come with instructions.
