everytime i turn my tv on it goes straight back to standby ,i have tried switching it on from the remote and it goes straight back to standby same when i try with the power button on the tv would anyone know what could be causing this problem as it has worked fine since the day i got it about 2 or 3yrs now i cant get it on :(

I too have the same problem, It seems too be a factory common fault, the capacitors on the power board need too be replaced or full power board replacement for about thirty quid. DIY.
