How can I repalce the rubber clutch on my blender?

The hot food I was blending must have heated the blades so much that it melted the rubber clutch (the part that spins the blade) on the base of my Kitchen Aid blender . I found a replacement part on the web, how should I install it?

With the front of the blender facing you, take a nut driver and place it against one of the clutch fins strike it from forward toward the back of the unit. Do not strike it too hard. This will loosen the clutch altough it won't look like it. To replace it, reverse the direction while hand tightning. Then, put the blending cup back on with a little ice and run the unit to tighten it down.

The threads on the rubber clutch are reverse threaded so be sure to turn to the right to loosen it. We had to take the bottom off the blender and stick a screwdriver into the motor blades to keep them from turning so we could unscrew the clutch.
Hope this helps.
