1. Turn the radio unit OFF.
2. Press and hold the '6' button. Do not release it.
3. Turn the radio unit ON. Do not release the '6' until the radio request the code (it may take 10-30 seconds).
These steps will allow 3 additional attempts. Once these attempts are used up, the radio unit cannot be unlocked without special decoding equipment. So if the first additional attempt fails, do not re-enter your code. Instead, post your serial number here or contact a Ford dealer for the correct code for your radio unit.
