Have also got one with the same problem. so far have found a thermal fuse that has blown, have replaced this and it now heats up. The only problem now is the maximum temperature isn't sensed therefore the green light doesn't come on. this is now probably the fault that caused the thermal fuse to blow. not yet managed to source a replacement temperature sensor yet
