the door wont open - i believe it is a fault with the catch rather than the machine having water in it. have taken the top off but cannot find where the manual door release is

to get the water out, open the filter cap, its is low to the ground,so you should use a plastic bin liner bag,to catch the water in, thats left in the drum, then you can take out the machine, put it on its side, you might see the catch from under it , so you can get to it this way, i dont thing you can get to it from takeing the top off
