have a hotpoint WT640 with Error code f05?

My washing machine stopped mid cycle it's full of water and doesn't seem to drain and error code f05 came up? Can you helP, is the filter or pipe blocked?

Yes I followed MJK's advice about his wife's (!!) washer for error F-05 and it worked and my washer is now back to normal. Definately a filter problem - found £1.11 in small coins, 3 green beans, 2 nails and loads of fluff!!!

Not being model specific, You should have a filter for the pump, located at the front of most machines, Might have a pull off panel at base of machine, or an access plate. When you find it, get a tray as deep as you can, and undo the filter cover, water will come out, you can always put the drain plug back in to stop the flow, you will probably get a bit of wet floor, Last time this happened on my wifes machine, filter was full of bits of tissues, (left in pockets and sleeves). Clean out the filter, (which you are supposed to do now and again) try that.
