Loss of water pressure Karcher 411A ?

Would anyone know what would cause a lack of water pressure? The motor starts up when I press the triger, (although the noise from the motor seems more sudued tha usual), but the water coming out is just at tap pressure.

Where is the switch situated on the detergent to switch it off.

I have no water coming through the lance when powers on. When I first turned the pressure washer on some water trickleout of lance and then nothing.

Make sure that the detergent is turned off. Otherwise it will draw air instead of water.

A quick test if you have concerns about the detergent valve/regulator is to pinch the hose coming from the detergent bowl. That will stop it drawing air.

Otherwise I think you have a pump or pressure regulating valve issue.

Hi sounds like the pump has gone kaput. The motor will be working if you can hear a noise although the pump is at fault if the water pressure is same as out of the tap.
