can i fix this?

i have a new dishwasher but stupidly didnt fill the salt despencer with water only salt and now it doesnt work please HELP

Did it work? I cannot see why, filling with just salt would cause a problem. water should go though the salt section anyway, Salt is for softening the water, the water must go through it, to be softened. As new, contact supplier. You could always, if not in there put water in to dispenser, say you have, (opps I dids not say that) BUT water should be in there any way. I have never had to add water, to a dishwasher, Salt yes, Never water. Forget the salt, unit will still work, dishes will not be as clean.
