Dishwasher Bosch SMS 6032 short circuit when close door?

My Bosch dishwasher was causing the switchboard to trip when door was closed.

I opened it and checked the pipes - no sign of any blockage. I left it on its side for a whole evening and next morning it was working again. It leaked some water to the kitchen floor but not sure from where.

However, just now, it tripped the switchboard in the middle of the wash. And it keeps tripping when the door is closed. It has some water but not sure if that is normal or it is causing the short circuit.

Is this something fixable by an amateur or do I need to call an engineer?

Thanks

My message above should be here.

So - yesterday the dishwasher finished the washing... Can heater problems cause this? And be on/off?

The machine leaked when it was on its side.

if water is leaking in to the base it might be getting in to the electrics which is causing it to trip your electric.Heater problems can also cause similar issues.depends on your abilities as to whether you need an engineer!
