How can I syncronize the clock time with the chiming?

I have a Hamilton two jewel jn adjusted 340-020 mantel clock made in '74' and I would like to know how to synchronize the chiming with the time. I would also like to know how to maintain and care for this clock. Please advise Respectfully Jim.
