My indesit wahing machine won't spin anymore?

we had to turn the machine off as our water supply was cut off. Ever since the machine won't spin anymore, it just makes a humming sound.

I had that problem, for me it was the belt that fell off.

i had a similar problem with my indesit washer. it turned out to be the modulator. The part is actaully only about ten pounds if you do it yourself.

I have a similar problem. Woody's answer not helpful. Might be a wsith or fuse to the motor? Can any body confirm please.

You need to find the water taps usually located under the sink and turn them on. HTH
