where is the thermostate?

ihave replaced the heater element on my sanussi zdt6244 but thia has not cured the lack of heating problem. I have ordered a thermostate but from the picture i cant see where it is on the machine.
Could any one tell me where to look.

oh dear. i have a friend with a similar problem

mk can i ask your advice. esl6115 dishywashy.

runs through prog , water tepid, is there a stat and is it likely to be saying the temp is up when it isn't, so machine not waiting for heat ?

relay working and 230 v being fed to element. haven't checked ohms on element yet.. but slight heat in water, so thinking stat more likely problem.

do you know how to test stat if that's likely cause and if it's a mission to replace it, in situ or must i pull machine out for access

apprec. your time, ta
steve

So why don't you ask here how to check your element before wasting your money buying parts that aren't needed. Your obviously trying to fix it yourself to save the cost of calling out a service person but in doing so you are spending far more than necessary. By your own admission you don't know what you are doing. So either ask for advice and we will give it and save you money or go get up on your high horse and keep heading down the fools track you are on now. Good luck.

So you have bought & replaced an element without checking the old one to see if that was faulty. You have now ordered a thermostat to replace one that you have not even looked at yet so again have not tested it to see if it is faulty. Only a fool would continue just buying and replacing parts at random. Either that or you have heaps of money in which case you should just go buy a new dishwasher.
