Husqvarna 353 chain brake spring release?

I was changing bars and when I took the cover off, the brake must have been engaged. It resisted coming off, and when it did, I realized it must have been engaged; now I can't put the cover back on. Is there a way to release the spring so that it will be big enough to fit over the clutch? Thanks.

Hi, you have to pull the chainbrake lever BACK to release it. I suggest you put it on a sturdy work bench to do this as it will take quite a bit of force. Once pulled back it will hold itself OFF .
