My handset base 1 has stopped working, when I put it on charge the display has a flashing symbol. When i take it off, the display goes blank!. I have misplaced my manual. Its a BT Studio 3100 twin

If you enter "BT Studio 3100" on ebay it comes up with several of these phones for sale - but they do not have instruction books with them. The seller has however a link so that you can look at and if necessary download a copy of the instructions - this might solve your problem!

my guess is batteries need replacing my BT free style did same.

One thing you can try is to unplug it and take the batteries out of the hand set and leave everything for half an hour or more,it may reset it back to normal.It's a bit like restarting your computer after a download,it might do on good but worth a try,if I remember right you shouldn't leave the handset plugged in all the time(leave it out of the base now and then).Good luck.
