This unit was working fine before I left on a road trip in my RV in fall 2009. It was in a cabinet slot designed for a player/recorder and connected to my TV. On a very rough road, the machine worked its way out and fell on one corner onto the dinette table below...held at that point by the cord. It suffered a slight dent externally, but internally, though it turns on, it doesn't work. It has been sitting in the slot because I don't know where to start. It appears that sending it in for repairs would cost almost as much as a new one. Unfortunately, the newer models don't appear to be as good.
