how much is it likely to cost to fix my washing machine/is it worth fixing?

smeg WM63141BK washing machine 2yrs Stopped working and is showing 'error code 4'

75% of wmc faults can usually be 1 of 2 things,
1/ Motor brushes have worn out. These are cheap and easy to replace. Buy a pair from your local domestic appliance repair place or ebay. They will cost around £10.
However as yours is only 2 years old, the brushes should still be good.
2/ Outlet pump is jammed with stray hairclips/coins. Follow the outlet hose backwards to find the pump, remove hoses and remove debris allowing the pump to spin by hand. This I think is your problem. Good luck.
