i have a 2000 punto and the arm mechanism has also gone...but the motor still works. Fiat say it will cost £107.77 to fix as i need the whole thing replacing.
Was told to try putting araldite on at the bottom of the arm mechanism with a penny to keep the arm on but that didn't work...

Any other ideas??

Best idea is take it to a local garage. Ask you mates with bangers if the know any cheap ones and the chances are you can get the work done for a lot less. If this doesn't help e-mail me at mushroomgod@postmaster.co.uk and I'll see if I can help further.
