How to repair damage varnish wooden worktop?

I was using CIF cream cleaning product to clean the kitchen sides down and left it for a few minutes. I cam back to find the sides has been stained with it, so I frantically began rubbing and the varnish has now been removed from these parts. How do I repair the varnish or go about finding the correct colour to cover these parts with?

Thanks

If you have just taken the varnish off, I would think any good quality polyurathane varnish would do the job.
But really 'Cif' Should not do that, You could always complain to them, or even go further
