how to fix a lost wireless connection?

to restore lost wireless connection on windows xp I am assuming I need to enter both my SSID number & WPA key. Am I right, and if so, where do I find the appropriate window? Have tried the connection wizard but this offers no opertunity to enter WPA key.

Assuming Windows XP or similar. Start, Connect to, Wireless Connection.

BTW James, the default WPA key for a BT HH is printed on the case.
