clarion radio model p u 9971a?

i took the radio out of my peugeot 106xn now the car wont start,engine turns but will not fire.
is there an immobiliser connected to the radio???
If so how can i get round it.
also do not have the code for the radio.
its a clarion model PU9971A serial #0091659 Please can anyone help??
