How can I fix my toilet seat?

I have replaced my broken toilet seat, and now it is wobbly. It seams the the holes in the toilet bowl are too big for the toilet seat. even when I tighten the screws, the toilet seat is still wobbly......please help

The holes are larger for a reason, so that you can adjust the seat to fit the toilet. Undo the nut/wingnut and remove the rubber washer, get some "penny washers", place the rubber washer on the top of the metal washer and tighten them up. It it is still loose, use a pair of pliers, but don't overtighten them, simples
