I have a Blomberg (FFN6248) no, not one of the dodgy few, I've had it for 13 years and not one problem. A couple of days ago it just stopped functioning; the interior fridge light still comes on and the little fan at the back of the fridge is turning albeit very slowly, but the freezer and fridge are not getting cold at all. When I switch it on it makes an almost inaudible hum, light & fan work, and there is an occasional faint click from the black metal thing round the back, but as for refrigeration of any kind.... now't. If anyone can shed some light on this (let alone some cold) I'd be most grateful.
