hi weve had our washing machine for just over a year , but the machine is smelly and my clothes get the same smell if i leave them in to long aftyer the cycle has finished , ive tried calgon but thats only for lime scale

My daughter and I had this problem. I did a lot of internet surfing and found a solution. Wash your drawer and rubber seal. Use biological Ariel powder in the drawer (not liquid/tabs). Do not use conditioner. Never had smelly washing since, even if left in the machine until the next day. Hope this helps.

Bugs make standing water smell - you may have smelly drains or bugs in the machine's pipes... Some on here have suggested it may be due to cool washes not killing the bugs - they suggest a hot wash or two with a bit of vinegar as a disinfectant.

I would not "trust" any magical product from e-bay if I were you... And how did you manage to get some and use it in such a short time? Remarkable.
