How can I clean glass from oven door (stoves 900GDO)?

It seems that the glass is impossible to clean, once it has been left for a few months. I've tried various products in vain. Is there an easy solution?

sodium hydroxide solution (very strong alkali so be careful) its in mr muscle oven cleaner and is also called caustic soda from hardware stores
